Geographical location and administrative status:
The Province of Chefshaun is located in the north-west of the Kingdom, in the western countryside, i.e. in the west of the Rif mountain range, bordered north by the Mediterranean Sea with coasts of about 120 km, south of Townat and Wazzan, east of Al Hoceima province and west of Tetouan, Arash and Wazzan provinces.
